Project Overview: For this project, I aimed to create a visually captivating and dynamic commercial for a fictional joggers brand. I wanted to push my limits in animation and lighting to bring these joggers to life on screen. The project involved meticulous attention to detail, realistic fabric rendering, and eye-catching lighting setups. My goal was to showcase the joggers in a way that would leave viewers captivated and eager to hit the track!
Scene Setup
I made different cloth animation and also animated strands to showcase how flexible and comfortable the joggers are.
Animation
I focused on achieving smooth and natural movement for the joggers. From the initial strides to quick turns and jumps, I wanted the animation to convey a sense of agility and comfort. Each frame was meticulously crafted to ensure a lifelike and dynamic motion.
Color Palette
The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the brand's identity and evoke emotions associated with running and exercise. Vibrant and energetic colors were combined with cooler tones to create a visually appealing contrast.
Lighting
Lighting played a crucial role in creating the desired atmosphere for the commercial. I experimented with different lighting setups. By employing a variety of lighting techniques, I was able to add depth, mood, and a touch of drama to each scene.
Software and Tools Used
To bring this project to life, I utilized industry-leading 3D software such Cinema 4D, Houdini, Clo-3D and Adobe Illustrator. These tools allowed me to model and animate the joggers while also providing powerful lighting and rendering capabilities.
